Review
We visited this Da Mauro as a group of around ten people and quickly got a table. However, although fairly attractive inside, we quickly found that the food and service is just not up to standard.
After taking our order, which included shared starters the main courses started to arrive, bit by bit. They were uninspired and the risotto certainly had all the appearance, flavour and speed to the table of being from a packet, while the Agnolotti alla Piemontese was simply raviolli and could easily have been out of a can.
Although we mentioned the lack of starters to our sour-faced waitress on several occassions they failed to arrive until after most of the main courses had been consumed.
All in all a very dissappointing experience, Da Mauro will certainly have to do much better - we'll stear clear in the meantime.
