Porta Nuova

Porta Nuova is Turin's main train station and dates from the 1860s. Designed by Alessandro Mazzucchetti it was modelled on King’s Cross in London and consisted of an arrivals hall and a departures hall separted by a hall with a semicircular roof.

The early 20th century saw many changes to the station and the interior has since been completely restructured, although the façade remains.
